The story (SPOILER ALERT!!)
The story revolves around Owen Michael who disappears. But before she disappeared, she snuggles a note to written to his beloved wife of one year and it says : Protect her. Though Hannah is in a mix of fear and confusion, she still knows who her husband is referring to, she has to protect. She is Owen’s sixteen-year-old daughter, Bailey who lost her mother tragically when she was a child. And, that Bailey has nothing to do with her stepmother.
As the story progresses you find that Hannah has made desperate calls to Owen, all unanswered. Other facts that surface are: The FBI has arrested Owen’s boss, a US marshal and federal agents arrive unexpectedly at her Sausalito home, which makes Hannah suspect her husband isn’t who he says he is. And, Bailey might just be holding the key as to why he disappeared all of a sudden. And, so both Hannah and Bailey embark on the road to discover the truth and as they put the puzzles e of Owen together, they end up building a new future.
