Father Of A 6-year-old Girl Killed In Hit-and-run, Questions Fast Cars

Father of a 6-year-old girl questions if it’s alright for car drivers to drive fast and kill someone.

The father, a resident of 7600 Block of Bingham Street is asking the above question. He says drivers often ride down the road at fast speeds. This speeding has left the Dearborn family grieving the loss of their 6-year-old sweet girl.

Father of a 6-year-old girl killed in hit-and-run grieves the loss

The 6-year-old girl named Batoul Al-Fadawi got killed by a fast driven car. The driver sped down the street. Didn’t even try to stop when the little girl got struck. The hit-and-run caught on a neighbor’s camera shows a SUV. It fled the scene and left the girl injured.

A relative gave some details

A relative of the family spoke to ClickOnDetroit said, her mom fainted plenty of times. The girl has a couple of sisters who are crying right now. All because of a fast driven car.

The police released a statement

The police also released a statement. According to the PEOPLE, the Dearborn police responded to a call of a girl struck down by a fast car. Upon arriving at the scene, the girl had sustained severe injuries. The police confirmed it was a hit-and-run case, as the driver didn’t try to stop.

The police also identified the hit-and-run car. It is a silver or a white Chevrolet Equinox.

A father gave his last good-bye

The hit-and-run took place on November 7, 202l. The doctors saw the critical state of the girl and had no choice. But to tell the father to wish his last good-bye to his daughter.

The girl’s father, Haidar Al-Fadawi, told ClickOnDetroit, the doctors came over to me and told me your daughter is dying. You can go and say your final goodbye to her. In a matter of minutes, she passed away in his arms.

The local residents of the area also say fast driven cars are a problem in the area. The driver responsible for Batoul’s death drove at 50 miles per hour.

The grieving mother, Nadine Al-Fadawi said, he drove like a crazy man. It’s like he was on a highway and ran off hitting her daughter.

Attorney Majed Moughni said, there should be strict penalties. Such type of hit-and-run driver easily flees off killing people.

The penalty now is a fine of 5,000 pounds for a driver driving at 50 miles per hour. But it is not enough when you take the life of a person, and a child on -top-of-that.

The Chief of Police Ronald Haddad said, the death of Batoul’s had affected the community. He said they will not rest till we catch the culprit.

A few days after the death of the girl, an 18-year-old suspect turned himself in. The teen charged with connection to the fatal hit-and-run case of Batoul said, the SUV is at a relative’s home.

She left behind her family consisting of her parents, 6 sisters and a brother.

Her family remembers how much she loved her family. Always ready to learn and full of excitement. PEOPLE also confirmed her family has set a GoFundMe page in memory of their daughter.

The story in the link is the same matter, only in a different part of the world. It’s not just a country issue, it’s rather a driver issue. If drivers would drive slower, such losses would not happen.

Is it so hard to drive slow?

You might look cool, or feel great, but is it worth the death of a person?

Please share so more and more people can understand and stop driving fast.
