Abducted by Aliens in UFO Costume Will Make Your Trick-O-Treat Day Special
Like every year Halloween is on October 31st and (at the time of writing this article) that means three months away. So, if you’re someone who likes to wear intricate costumes, you’d better start preparing it now. And, if you’re having a hard time in finding one, you could put for the abducted by aliens i n UFO costume as it will be one of the coolest one. Though there must be plenty of DIY ideas on the internet but, the one we are talking about is the one that makes you look like you’ve been abducted by a UFO hovering over your head and the said costume was also part of the 2019 Halloween costume contest.
A mother’s creative idea
Abducted by aliens in UFO costume is the creative idea of a mother named Duong for her son Milo. Milo began taking interest in UFOs and aliens after watching some related videos on YouTube. She said she and her son were looking for some ideas and one caught their attention and they decided to make a costume in which it looks like Milo is being abducted by aliens.
Duong tells how she made the abducted by aliens in UFO costume
Duong said she used 8 foam boards from Dollar General to make the hovering body of the UFO, and then placed 4 foam boards together to make the circle and divided the foam board into three sections, making a total of 12 pieces.
She said she repeated the process twice for the top and bottom of the UFO and how she cut each piece and took each one out from the top and bottom. Then with the help of duct tape, she taped the 11 pieces together.
Then she cut a big hole where the alien would sit and sprayed the UFO body with gold and silver paint. She used a large punch bowl as the top of the UFO and hot glued the alien on the top of the bowl and then hot glued the bowl on the UFO. Then she hot glued fairy lights at the top and bottom and hot glued some circular lights at the UFOs bottom.
For the rays, she glued some iridescent streamers around the bottom of the UFO. To keep the UFO in place, she used two strong PVC pipes and spray foamed them to keep in place. She also sprayed the other ends of the box. She put the box into his book bag so he could wear it and hold it up and to complete the look, she bought her son a T-shirt that said ‘Abduct, me, please!.

The costume won the ‘Best Costume’ at the Trunk-or-treats which made Milo super excited.
